* Perceived as negative contributor
* Open Source vs Commercial Projects
* Very little work on open source, but passion & culture is outside
* Knowledge sharing…
* Trying to make teams open source, doing it wrong and upsetting the community
* Either owned business or worked in small orgs that did Open Source, observation is that corporates do much better than credited
* Adopt Open Source principles, collaboration, transparency, all submit patches, internal to the company.
    * Had to learn to be vulnerable, not giving away control but better feedback
* Recruiting from outside team with contributors
* Companies contributing and the reputation damage if it doesn't work
* Potential governance overpowering toward one entity
* Foundations with pay-to-play may not work well for the community
* Corporate objectives might be against the community, therefore vendors untrusted?
* Single vendor dominated does not seem to work
* When money buys control/equity in a foundation it's kind of like a corporation in disguise as opposed to offering grants and not getting power or access in return.
